Lynn Valley Drinking Water Reservoir

Located in the Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve in the District of North Vancouver, the Lynn Valley Reservoir is one of over 20 in-system reservoirs Metro Vancouver uses to supply drinking water throughout the region. It refills overnight, so that water is ready, at the right pressure, for use in homes and businesses during daytime hours. This facility also provides system redundancy and is designed to provide water to the District of North Vancouver during an emergency if neighbouring facilities are out of service. The reservoir has a capacity of one million litres and has been architecturally designed to blend in with the natural setting of the Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve. The reservoir dimensions are 13 m diameter x 12 m height.
