Sewer gases are emitted at Gladwin Road and Downes Road when the gravity sewer transitions into a siphon system. WSP provided a modern solution for this issue with an odor control facility and the reinforced concrete underground chambers. The odor control building was elegantly designed by the architect.
Integral Engineering provided the design of the structural of the project which consists of a 11 m x 7.5 m building with timber roof on reinforced masonry side walls on a partly slab on grade mat foundation on partly multiple cell chambers designed for water retaining. We also provided the construction services to the end of this project.
