The remote First Nations community of Ahousaht is located on Flores Island north of Tofino, British Columbia on Vancouver Island.

Ahousaht First Nation trusted WSP with the task of designing a modern new wastewater treatment plant and outfall to address the needs of the community. Integral Engineering as the structural design team for WSP, designed and provided construction services for this project. The Work consists of installation of:

Operation building no. 1; 14 m x 31 m x 8 m height steel buildings to house a 10 m x 10 m x 5 m height over ground double cell digester tank, a 10 m x 10 m x 10 m height over ground steel primary clarifiers on concrete foundations and steel headworks system on reinforced concrete frame.

Operation building no. 2; 24 m x 21 m x 10 m height steel buildings to house to house three RBCs and secondary clarifiers on concrete foundations, a 5 m x 8 m steel frame dewatering room, and auxiliary equipment foundations.

A 9 m x 5 m steel frame sludge pole barn, an office building and electrical room and a Pump Station.
